Friday 13th — is Galentine’s Day! We will be having a Wines of the Commonwealth wine tasting including a British Sparkling White and 5 other Commonwealth wines! It should be a fun night and we ask you to bring a lovely nibble to share. (think chocolates, spiced nuts, savoury appetizers) The cost will be $42 in advance. This is open to all and would be a nice event to bring a friend (who knows they might want to join the DBE). There are some former DBE members on the distribution list we would love to reconnect with.

Let Kearsley know by February 1st if you would like to attend. It will be at 7:30 at Kearsley’s home in Alexandria. Our sommelier is Carol Kaufmann, a local wine consultant. We are limited to 15 people so let me know if you can join us.

Saturday 21st — Visit to Senior Care Facility, Little Sisters of the Poor Washington DC, Jeanne Jugan Residence, 4200 Harewood Road, NE, Washington, DC 20017.
